Academy provides a credit recovery program designed to address the needs of
students who have fallen or are in jeopardy of falling behind in their credits
required for graduation. The program provides an academic
environment that meets the credit needs of individual students while adhering to
the BVSD guaranteed viable curriculum.
By the end of the first year, 149 students
had been enrolled in the credit recovery program, earning a total of 1658
credits. Forty-seven of these students were concurrently enrolled with their
home high school, spending only part of their day on the Arapahoe Campus working
on credit recovery.
In 2010-2011, 286 students were served and
earned 3,151 credits.
In 2011-2012, 243 students were served and
2,745 credits were earned.
